Why this site exists
We have a broad interest in technology: anything that lets people make things they couldn't make before, do their work with less friction, or reach more people. New tools arrive faster than anyone can try them, and most coverage is either a launch announcement or a directory. We want to explain how a tool actually works, what it is good for, and where it stops being useful.
We are starting with voice and creator technology, for VTubers, AI ASMR creators, animation and game storytellers, streamers, and small teams bringing one character into several languages. That is where our first articles are, not where our interest ends.
What we cover
- Character voice design and repeatable performance cues
- Live voice changers for OBS, Discord, Twitch, and recording
- Whisper, breath, pacing, and spatial-sound workflows
- Tool tests with clear setup and status labels
- Recording, editing, and creator workflows
- Consent, licensing, attribution, and creators' rights
- Other technology we think deserves people's attention
How we work
Every article carries a label saying whether it comes from hands-on use, partial testing, or research, so you can judge how much weight to give it. Sponsored work is marked as sponsored. When a judgement comes down to taste, we say so and, where we can, give you something to listen to or look at.
Who writes Voxaka
The site currently uses the shared byline Voxaka Editorial while the contributor roster is being established. Named biographies and review responsibilities should be added before publishing formal reviews.
